  • Race ends after just a few corners in the Mercedes Arena with irreparable steering damage

  • Round 3 of the LMGH 2025 on April 5, 2025

Hamburg / Nürburgring. The 2025 season of the Langstreckenmeisterschaft Grüne Hölle (LMGH) gets off to a slow start for Team FR13DA SPORT (#113) with drivers Andreas Bäcker and Hugo Hebert. Over the past four weeks, the team has focused on fine-tuning the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Both in the final practice session and in qualifying, it became clear that the right conclusions had been drawn from the first race. Andreas Bäcker secured P6 in qualifying, putting him in a significantly better position than in Race 1, where he had to start from P13 in the four-hour race. However, the race once again did not go as planned. Just a few corners into the race, Andreas Bäcker was spun around in the Mercedes-Arena. Adding to the frustration, most of the SP9 field still had to pass him due to his strong starting position. Unfortunately, this did not go as smoothly as hoped, and one of the last cars hit the #113 Porsche directly on the front axle. After being towed to the pits, the team could only confirm a total steering failure, bringing the race to an early end.

The third round of the LMGH 2025 will take place on April 5th.
